Karl Mulligan, PhD
Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder
Dr. Karl Mulligan has over twenty five years of experience spanning oncology research, diagnostics, and life sciences commercialization. As Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of CV6 Therapeutics (NI) Ltd., he has led operations since the company’s inception in 2014, overseeing the company’s strategic development and the advancement of its therapeutic programs.
Prior to CV6, Dr. Mulligan served as Global Vice President at Almac Diagnostics, where he established and led multidisciplinary teams across the UK and United States. His teams supported leading biotechnology and pharmaceutical partners in biomarker discovery, companion diagnostic development, and clinical testing programs.
He also serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Catalyst Inc., advising early-stage life science companies on product development and commercialization.
Dr. Mulligan holds a BSc (Hons) from the University of Liverpool and a PhD in Molecular Oncology from Queen’s University Belfast.
He sits on the Board of CV6 Therapeutics (NI) Ltd.
